LDC puts on spring and fall marketplace educational and showcase events annually for local interior designers. For 2019, they wanted to reinvent the marketplace with high profile industry speakers, educational opportunities, and an on-site bazaar. Their goal was to increase their visibility in the local design community, enhance site showroom exposure, and grow attendance for the spring event.
Echo put together a comprehensive digital and print marketing plan for reaching local audiences pre- and post-event, as well as on-site. It all began with the bohemian invitation design, a whimsical take on travel focusing on engagement and making participation meaningful.
E-blasts, organic and paid social media ads, print ads, a pop-up event invitation with CTA, display ads, branded signage, posters, postcards, and an immersive passport game carried the theme throughout the event.
ARRIVE brought in 1,000 RSVPs, 5x the response for 2018’s event in just 30 days with a limited budget. Facebook ads generated more than 100,000 impressions and over 1,700 website clicks. Display ads generated over 200,000 impressions, and with an average cost-per-click (CPC) of $1.26.
